Melanie Kilby is a Brisbane based artist known for her whimsical, nature-inspired illustrations. With a background in portraits, botanical shopkeeping, and children's book illustration, she brings a playful yet sophisticated charm to every piece.

We collaborated with Melanie to create the dreamlike, moody artwork that wraps our limited edition tea canisters. The result? A collection that’s not just beautiful to brew, but beautiful to behold.

On the back of every canister is an original poem by Australian writer Margaret McKay. Her verses give each blend its own voice, strange, lyrical, and slightly off-centre in the most beautiful way.

Together, the art and the poetry transform each blend into their own tiny world.
